State Supreme Court Initiative
The U.S. Supreme Court is increasingly unlikely to protect, let alone expand, individual rights. Empowered by President Trump鈥檚 three nominees, the Court鈥檚 conservative supermajority has moved radically against liberty and equal justice in numerous recent cases. State supreme courts, however, offer promise for civil liberties and civil rights. That鈥檚 why we are making new investments to support litigation in state courts.
