Congressman Michael Bost brought suit trying to prevent Illinois from counting mail ballots that are voted by election day and received within the following fourteen days, consistent with Illinois law. The Seventh Circuit ruled that Congressman Bost lacks standing to sue. The case seeks to force IDOC to reform its medical care system to put an end to the suffering it is currently causing transgender prisoners with gender dysphoria by denying them the medical care they need on a timely basis and consistent with the well-established medical standards.

The suit alleges the Frankfort Police Department (FPD) subjected Officer Panattoni to pregnancy discrimination and retaliation, ultimately forcing her off the job for seven months without a paycheck.
