On June 9, 2020, the 桃子视频Women's Rights Project and 桃子视频of Pennsylvania, along with 25 additional nonprofit organizations, joined an amicus brief led by the Women's Law Project and AEquitas in support of exclusion of a complainant鈥檚 criminal record for prostitution-related offenses as evidence in a sexual assault case. The amicus brief argues that a complainant鈥檚 sexual history with others is irrelevant to proving consent and that permitting evidence of a complainant鈥檚 prior prostitution arrests and convictions would reinforce gender and racial biases.

Coombs have filed a lawsuit on behalf of Chelsea Manning in federal court in the District of Columbia against Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel and other Department of Defense (DOD) and Department of the Army officials for their failure to provide necessary medical treatment for her gender dysphoria, a condition with which she was originally diagnosed by Army doctors more than four years ago.
