Bio


Brian Hauss is the deputy director of the ACLU’s Speech, Privacy & Technology Project, where he focuses on free speech issues. Since joining the ÌÒ×ÓÊÓÆµin 2012, he has litigated cases throughout the country defending the First Amendment rights of authors, journalists, media organizations, protesters, labor unions, civil servants, nonprofits, for-profits, and gadflies. He is a graduate of Yale University and Harvard Law School and served as a law clerk to the Hon. Marsha S. Berzon of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
