Bio

Noor Zafar is a Senior Staff Attorney with the ÌÒ×ÓÊÓÆµImmigrants’ Rights Project (IRP). She is a graduate of New York University and Harvard Law School. Prior to joining IRP, Noor was the Nadine Strossen fellow with the ÌÒ×ÓÊÓÆµNational Security Project, where she helped litigate cases challenging presidential emergency powers, electronic surveillance, and discriminatory federal policing. Before joining the ACLU, Noor worked as a Bertha Justice fellow at the Center for Constitutional Rights, where she represented detainees at Guantánamo Bay and engaged in litigation and advocacy relating to the laws of war, immigration, and religious profiling.
