Bio
Kaitlyn Joshua is a native of Southeast Louisiana where she currently resides with her husband Landon and four year old daughter, Lauryn. Kaitlyn graduated from Southern University in Baton Rouge, LA with a degree in Biological Sciences. Somewhere along the way, she stumbled into organizing and never left for medical school, so at this point, it 鈥渕ust just be a calling.鈥� Kaitlyn organizes for environmental justice and advocates for gun violence prevention within her community. She seeks to organize from a racial justice perspective and address the systemic oppression crippling communities of color in Louisiana.
