Bio

Julia Birnbach is a former Paralegal at the ÌÒ×ÓÊÓÆµfor the Abortion Criminal Defense and the Womens' Rights Project. Prior to joining the ACLU, she worked as a Paralegal Specialist at the Department of Justice in the Antitrust Division on the Technology and Digital Platforms Team. Julia graduated cum laude from Washington University in St. Louis where she majored in Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies and Psychology. Her previous experience includes interning with the Vera Institute of Justice on the Ending Girls Incarceration team as well as working as an advocate at the St. Louis Domestic Violence Court. Julia also has experience interning at Planned Parenthood of the St. Louis Region and Southwest Missouri as well as Planned Parenthood Hudson Peconic. In her fere time, Julia engages in activism work in DC with mutual aid groups and reproductive justice organizations.
