Bio

Hruska most recently worked at the U.S. State Department as a senior advisor, promoting democracy and human rights in central Africa, and coordinating U.S. sanctions policy. She has worked on multiple electoral campaigns, and helped former Senator Russ Feingold launch LegitAction, an online organization committed to protecting and strengthening voting rights. She started her policy career on the local level, working for a Los Angeles City Councilman.

Jeanne received her JD from George Washington University Law School, and her BA from the University of Southern California.
