Bio

Elisa Epstein is an Equal Justice Works Fellow at the ACLU's National Prison Project. Elisa’s fellowship is focused on leveraging disability rights law to litigate and advocate for the release of incarcerated youth with disabilities. Prior to joining the ACLU, Elisa was the Washington Advocacy Officer at Human Rights Watch. Elisa holds a J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School and a B.A. in Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations from the University of Chicago.
